HOP COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Mission

N.E.P. House of Praise Community Outreach is deeply committed to fostering an environment where both the public and those in need can truly thrive. Recognizing the critical issues of homelessness and the affordable housing crisis in Manchester, NH, we are actively expanding our efforts to bring greater awareness and tangible solutions to these challenges by working closely with local, state, and national partners.

Through a range of impactful programs, including career development and financial literacy training, comprehensive after-school programs, and more, we aim to equip individuals with the skills and resources necessary to build stable and fulfilling lives.

Urgent Appeal: Food Drive for Our Neighbors

The need in our community is real. With recent changes to the SNAP program and the ongoing impact of the shutdown, many families are facing food insecurity.

As a church, this is our chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We are launching a Food Drive to immediately support our local food pantry and bring hope to those in need.

How You Can Help

  1. Donate Non-Perishable Food: Please bring your donations this week. A list of the most-needed items is posted right next to the collection boxes, which you can find in the lobby. Every can and box makes a difference!
  2. Give Financially: If you prefer, you can make a monetary donation. Simply mark your giving envelope “Food Pantry,” or note it in the memo of your online gift.

Proverbs 28:27 reminds us, “He who gives to the poor will never want.” When we give, we are not just meeting needs; we are planting seeds of hope and living out our faith in action.

Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and for being a light of love in our community.

2025 NH Gives Thank you!

Wow! We raised over $2700 in just 24 hours for the building fund! We could not have done it without the generous support from our friends, family and community.

The official 24-hour campaign is over, but good news – the portal is staying open for another day or two. If you still want to donate and help us reach even higher, you can use the NH Gives link here: https://www.nhgives.org/organizations/n-e-p-house-of-praise.

Thank you again for your incredible support!

2024 HOP Community Events

01/25/2024- On behalf of NEP House of Praise Community Outreach Program, Cece Avelino and Selina Choate joined Harmony Home in Manchester, NH for their Thursday Night Street Outreach. We handed out food, hot cocoa, hats and socks. Most importantly, we listened to people we encountered on the streets and reminded them of God’s love and grace. Thank you Josh, Rick and Mike for allowing us to accompany you this evening.
